Siblings: Friends for life

Siblings. You can’t live with them, but you can’t live without them.

TOGETHER FROM THE VERY BEGINNING Tanner Horchak, ’16, and his younger sister Mykenna, ’18.

Wahlert halls are full of siblings, and while they might know how to annoy each other, they really do stick together through it all.

Abbie and Sam Montag:

“I like seeing her throughout the day. It’s cool that she’s older. Whenever we make food in Culinary Arts, I give it to her.” – Abbie Montag, ‘19

“It was fun to swim with her this season. And it’s fun to see her in the hall because I make fun of her.” -Sam Montag, ‘17

Jack, Kate, and Will Hanley:

“Will and I are so polar; we’re opposite on pretty much everything.”

“Kate’s honesty is the best. If I ever need advice, I can go to her, especially with clothes.”

“I want to say Will’s sense of humor is what I admire most about him, but most of the time it’s just me laughing at the things he does.”- Jack Hanley, ‘16

“[Jack is] very well spoken; he’s very contrasting to Will. He’s smart and thinks through things and thinks before he speaks. He always says good morning to me, and he always tells me he loves me before he goes to bed. He’s always willing to help me out if I need something.”

“Will and I are more alike. We’re more laid back. If I’m watching something, Will and I will just binge watch entire seasons of something. We watched “Ouran on High Host Club, American Horror Story, Glee, and Sherlock.”- Kate Hanley, ‘16

“Jack is very independent, and he’s always doing something.”

“Kate just likes to stay in her room all day. – Will Hanley, ‘16

Jon, Hayley, and Luke Schaefer:

“Jonathan always agrees with me over Luke. If Luke is being dumb, he takes my side.”

“If I ask him [Luke] to do something for me, he does it. He’s like my own little slave.”- Hayley Schaefer, ‘16

“My brother pushes me to be my best.” -Luke Schaefer, ‘18

“My sister bosses me around.”- Luke Schaefer, ‘18
