For years Apple and Samsung have competed on a scale unprecedented in business history. This is mainly due to both company’s line of smartphones.

Samsung released the Galaxy S7 on March 11, 2016, and Apple released the Iphone 7 on Sept. 16, 2016. These smartphones are two of the best selling phones in the world.

But what makes these phones better than others? Why would somebody choose one phone over the other?

Both phones have new features to offer.

The Iphone 7 has a brand new display, along with an improved camera and the audio was improved by removing the headphone jack.

The Galaxy S7 has a certified water-resistant rating, improved camera and storage, and can charge wirelessly.

We are in the 21st century, and a new form of technology is being released everyday. Teenagers all around the world are buying the latest Apple and Samsung products to keep up with the rest of the world.

Braden Gebhart ‘19, recently bought the Iphone 7. “I feel like the Iphone is better than a Samsung. My friends had an influence on my decision because almost all of them have an Iphone.”

In addition, Carter Hanson, ‘17, also bought the Iphone 7. “I like the new Iphone 7 because of the many new features. I had the Iphone 6 before I upgraded to the Iphone 7, and I think that the Samsung is a much better phone.”
