On February 15th, Rock the Rafters was held here, at Wahlert Catholic High School. Rock the rafters is an event that allows local dancers to showcase their talent to the Dubuque community. Before the performance, Wahlert dance team members teach a dance to campers participating in the annual event. Campers range from kindergarten through fifth grade. Each age group learns a dance, and then all campers come together and perform a short number, as well. Once the campers have completed their Valentines Day themed performance, the rest of the showcase resumes with performances from local dance studios such as: Dubuque Dance, Studio 5678, and Xtreme Dance. Rock the Rafters is a great service opportunity for current high school students to interact with future eagles.
