‘Tis the season to give, and this Christmas season for the second year in a row, Wahlert’s Social Justice Club continued their St. Mark’s basket tradition. The St. Mark’s basket is made to help the people that are in need.

Wahlert Social Justice Club President Lilah Takes, ‘23, said, “What’s great is that we’re  bringing mentor groups together, and we’re bringing  new household items for families that are in need.”

Alena Welter, ‘26, said, “The baskets that we are putting together are a good thing. It shows that our school is willing to help out others who have trouble buying things.”

Religion teacher Mr. Nathaniel Gee said, “It shows students that it is a good thing to help out others.”
